Haha! How old is he? We have this every morning.... DS is allowed two bowls of shreddies and that's it but he tries it on every day.

Can't have porridge and fruit instead to fill him up

Once, when ds1 was about 18 months old, he kept on asking for more and more breakfast. He started with 1.5 weetabix, and when he'd finished that, he asked for more, so I gave him another - and he asked again - so I gave him one more - by that time, I was just fascinated to see how many weetabix one small boy could hold. In the end, he ate 5.5 weetabix! He didn't eat any lunch, though! Grin

Ds4 is like that (he's 3) He eats 2 scrambled eggs, at least 8 cherry tomatoes, 2 pieces of toast and a banana for breakfast then wont eat again until tea at 5ish. Now he goes to nursery I have halved that amount as he wouldn't eat the lunch...he's not happy about it though!

After bowl number 2, I would have given him something to do/played a game to distract him.

Sounds like boredom eating.

My 5 month old was given a jar of Heinz baby food. He wanted another so I gave it to him. He wanted more so I gave him more....

I finished up spooning a whole tin of Ambrosia creamed rice into him as well as the jars of baby food and took a photo of the fat little scamp sitting there grinning from ear to ear. He's always had hollow legs but that was the only time that I was surprised at the amount he ate for one meal. Yes, he was 5 months old.

Is that even safe? Confused
