Go for a day out with mil, sil and niece again!!

Thats just it really. DH and children and I went or a day just us the other day. Was lovely! Got there early, did out own thing, etc etc. No waiting till lunchtime to set off!!
I just want it to be us, but its not me paying for it so i should just shut up and be greatful shoulny I!!

I feel your pain. Yes you may have to just suck it up if it has already been arranged. But often days out just yourselves and kids are the best days as you don't have to suit everybody. Just try and smile through it!

Are you sharing transport? When we "go out" with in-laws we take our own car and meet them there, that way we don't have to wait for them to finish dithering before we can set off.
