To be annoyed with the kids

That they wont go play in the softplay after we have paid to come in and driven almost an hour to get here. They wont leave me and DH alone and just play!! DH is a very hands on dad too so they constantly want more and more attention off him and he panders to their every whim!!!

Go and play with them?

Ugh I couldn't bear it. I was horrid, and basically told them to go and play or we'd leave (and I meant it) I did things outside of soft play that are 'interacting'. Soft play is for you to bugger off while I drink cappuccinos!

Trashcanjunkie I totally agree!!! Luckily its a softplay within a mini theme park type of place. Were out of the soft play but in the giant outdoor sandpit (and its been raining ) buy DH is in there woth them.

Food in a bit....I get crabbie when Im hungry!!!

exactly what I did although ds always used to nag for more lemonade, chips, he was bored etc etc arrgghh!!

They are at soft play! It's a kid's paradise
and a parent's hell. The pay-off is that you get a bit of a break from playing with them!

My son keeps moaning he's hungry when we go and I'm not paying their prices
