To the absolutely wonderfully selfless Mumsnetter who has sent me two pairs of much needed shoes!

Not just shoes, fairly fancy shoes and brand new! I can't believe I have two pairs of brand new shoes!

Thank you so much kind mumsnetter you have absolutely made my (otherwise pretty awful actually) week.

I have a pair of sandals which are cool enough to wear all summer but nice enough to wear at work and a pair of really comfortable pumps.

I've not had new shoes for years and years. So happy!

I know, truly evil! She commented on my 'barefoot' thread and then said she would send me some shoes, I just thought she was the same size as me and had lots of shoes, turns out she sent me two pairs of new shoes!

Today has been simply awful and that has really cheered me up, They are SO comfortable!

Wear them in around the house for a bit a) so you can keep looking at them and b) so that when you wear them outside they are the most comfortable shoes ever.

I have not taken them off since I put them on! I just had to take them off to get my work trousers on and I was very keen to get them back on! So comfy :)

Very recently I have been blown away by the kindness of mumsnet. One mner in particular sent me the most thoughtful and gorgeous gift after I had asked for some recommendations on books. I'm having a shitty time at the moment and she really, really cheered me up!
It's little things like this that give me faith in people again.
