I've spent TWO hours trying to speak to a human.
Been sent a letter saying I owe them money! They don't even pay me anything at the moment so how can I owe them money!
I made less than £2000 in the year they're referring to! BUT I owe them!!!

When I have managed to speak to someone they tell me I've got through to the wrong place - they redirect me to someone else who says I'm through to the wrong place and give me the sodding helpline number again!!!

They are very frustrating... i'm just glad I don't have to deal with them.

I got a letter wanting a heafty chunk of change from an old years ago claim. I asked them how I owed that money and they couldn't tell me, just that I had to pay it. I don't believe that I do though but ringing them up is just to frustrating.

I need to call them to cancel our claim and i am dreading it! they are just the most frustrating people to speak with! we had to apy them back a couple of years ago because they made a mistake in their calculations and instead of coming out being owed we came out as owing! they took 6 months to rectify the mistake and throughout this time we had a very small income (less than 12K coming in between both me and DH) and almost lost our house as we had to make reduced payments etc! they couldnt have been more unhelpful! they even claimed to know nothing of the letters they had sent to me or the letters i had sent to them that they subsequently replied to! it was the single most stressful situation i have ever had the misfortune to be involved in!

Ctc is institutionally incompetent. We refuse any further contact with them after four years of their bewildered inconsistent efforts. They now leave us alone thank goodness.
