to be cross with Royal Mail

I had a parcel posted to me on Friday (first class) and am still waiting for it. Now their website states they 'aim to deliver the next day, including Saturdays' but their customer service says they 'aim to deliver within 1-3 days' and also that First Class is not important to Royal Mail, nor can you complain until 15 working days have passed. Really 15 working days for a parcel to get to its destination???

So AIBU to be baffled with where my parcel has ended up?

Are you sure it was sent first class? I ordered something a week ago free p and p and would have paid extra if I had known

My postman/delivery person objects to leaving cards (and in fact, seems to object to delivering parcels).

When I'm expecting something, and it doesn't show up, I go to the post office or depot and pick it up.

They just tick the box saying 'no card left' and don't seem to think he's a lazy bugger whose job I seem to be doing half of Confused

Defo first class, I have a photo of the receipt confirming first class payment and postcode sent to...
Might try the depot tomorrow just in case....

I was recently by the front door when Parcelfarce dropped the Sorry you were out card in. I went out and asked for my parcel and the bloke admitted that he did not have it or any other parcels. They just deliver the cards and let the customers go and collect the bloody parcels. Idle buggers. Never use them if there is an alternative.
