It's in George sq on Friday.
It's going to rain.
Bar tents are inside, main area outside.

What would you wear?? Want to look club cool but weather appropriate.

Any help or suggestions of what to wear or what not to wear very welcome :)

I'd wear my running shoes and get as far away as possible!

SomethingOnce · 20/05/2014 11:00

Want to look club cool but weather appropriate.

Weather appropriate?!

Cool fail.

(Sorry Grin)

Pleasejustgo · 20/05/2014 11:01

Is it's raining I'd suggest something waterproof and it's it's sunny a hat?

Hth

ComposHat · 20/05/2014 11:01

Glagae...

Radio One big weekend is a bit old hat isn't it? It won't attract a cool crowd so wouldn't worry unduly about what you're wearing.

PrimalLass · 20/05/2014 11:01

I would have assumed it would rain because it is Glasgow Grin

Buy a cheap cagoule that goes to your knees.

Pleasejustgo · 20/05/2014 11:02

If not is. I don't get the rage often but your post has for some unknown reason Confused

Lilaclily · 20/05/2014 11:05

Who is if not is??

I'd wear cropped jeans &, trainers
Hoody maybe to keep the rain off

EverythingsDozy · 20/05/2014 11:06

Skinny jeans and wellies if it's going to be muddy plus a nice top. You can get thin and light rain jackets from George at asda.

Bookaboosue · 20/05/2014 11:07

Weather appropriate?! Cool fail. this made me Grin

Either a cool (is there such a thing?!) waterproof/cagoule (that you can roll up into a teeny tiny square and hide in a pocket if it's miraculously dry) or a hat to keep the rain off. Plus shoes/boots that don't let in and protect your feet from the drunken dancing people around you. hth

Enjoy! We'll be listening to the main concerts from the comfort of our living room (assuming we manage to get parked beside our house and all spaces aren't taken by concertgoes Envy not bitter at all!).

Pleasejustgo · 20/05/2014 11:08

Lilaclily

There isn't an if not is. See my first post.

Nomama · 20/05/2014 11:11

Oh! Now that is a serious cool fail, ifnotis will be so disappointed not to exist Grin

I'd wear biker boots (you will get your feet trod on) and a short flared dress that would dry quickly and a denim or leather jacket.

And waterproof mascara.

Pleasejustgo · 20/05/2014 11:16

If not is is secretly delighted not to exist after the cool fail of the line up to this event Grin

fluffyraggies · 20/05/2014 11:24

Weather appropriate if it's raining? Wellies and a waterproof jacket surely?

Cool? When i was cool about 25 years ago i would have worn my coolest gear, got soaked and not given a toss.

Relax ladies :)

Firstly I posted in the wrong area. Meant to be s&b.

Thanks for the links will have a look - don't have much time and just ordered the Kate moss for topshop sequinned jacket - not very weather appropriate at all but beautiful!

I realise it's not everyone's thing but I can't wait!

Tinkerball · 20/05/2014 12:24

I'm in Glasgow and it's nice and warm and not raining today. helpful

flux500 · 20/05/2014 13:22

Lol pleasejustgo I don't think there's any chance of dressing appropriately now anyway as to go my sequinned jacket I've just ordered cropped shirt and booked in for eyelash extensions Grin

Thank you tinker I'm in Edinburgh and Sunny but really cold wind! Gotta love Scotland :)

That's exactly the disregard for weather, ahem, appropriateness that is necessary to claw back some cool.

Have a great time!

MrsTerryPratchett · 20/05/2014 15:28

At Glasto backstage it was always as little as possible plus wellies, if that helps.
