The story is getting some coverage overseas (link is from US news), but not much...shouldn't it be headline news? It isn't mentioned anywhere at all in the guardian, bbc or times.

It was on the front page of the BBC news site yesterday. Not in the top three headlines with pics besides them, but just below that.

RabbitPies · 16/05/2014 18:17

But i agree that it should receive more coverage.

JuniperTisane · 16/05/2014 18:17

BBC

Guardian

Cant check the Times.

I bet Channel 4 News give it some prominence.

MrsTerryPratchett · 16/05/2014 18:27

It was in the top stories on the BBC app. Utterly heartbreaking. Also, there is something so horrible about beating her 'when she has recovered from the birth' and killing her when her child is two. Treating her like she is an incubator and milk cow but not a human who deserves to see her child grow up.

parentalunit · 16/05/2014 18:37

Oh good glad it got some coverage I must have had my head in the sand. It is heartbreaking and I really hope she can be saved and the crazies who are making these judgments can be dealt some swift justice.

I suspect they will let the child live because it will be considered muslim? I don't know that as a fact, just guessing? What a very screwed up system.

Shocked. Just shocked, that's the first I've heard of it. Sad

RufusTheReindeer · 16/05/2014 18:45

It's on the daily mail website so I assume it's in the paper as well

Dreadful, poor woman

sashh · 16/05/2014 18:54

ZenGardener · 16/05/2014 18:55
