I didn't think her dish last night was very well presented, though. But it sounded yummy.

I agree, Sanity. She can turn her hand to anything and I just really like her. I might have missed a couple of episodes but I also don't think she's really put a foot wrong, and she seems to excel especially in any task involving leadership too.

I think they were not orange flavoured potatoes, but orange coloured and made to look like clementines.
I did want Ping to win but I think jack has edged ahead now!

I love Ping but Jack was awesome last night. And Luke did pretty well but he looks v stressed sometimes. I think it's a close one this year

Ping because when she gets it right you can taste the asian sauce thought the telly - Gregg's face manages to let you know all sorts of things in a millisecond.

Jack because he has made some of the most amazing things. Again I can almost taste the. His 'journey' has been immense and he is so very young.

Luke, well bless him. Stress bunny. He missed the hint about deconstruction being retro and underwhelmed the El Bulli brigade. He seems to do that a lot.

But either Ping or Jack would be pleasing.

I think they are all very talented and seem to like each other which is lovely.

I do warm to Luke, I like his quirkiness, but I think Ping is going to win.

I've only seen last nights one out of all of them and that was because I couldn't find the remote!
Based on that one programme, I would like Jack to win.

I think Jack will get it - the comments he gets are just a little bit more effusive than Ping's. His food looks better to me too so I think he deserves it. Plus he made it straight into the final 3 and Ping had to go into the cook off so there is a recent reminder that she can mess up a little bit.

Feel a bit sorry for Luke. He has such promise at the beginning but he seems to be losing his edge a little now.

I was also going to say that my ds1 did a better tapas invention test last term than Luke did. What was that all about?

Looking forward to tonight though. There is everything to play for and I do sometime wonder if the editors of these programmes sometimes make a bit of a false trail so you think that somebody is out of the running and then suddenly, right at the end they seem to clinch it. Luke might just swing it.

The rule of Masterchef is that the second to last person the camera focusses on is the one that is leaving (or winning tonight). Apparently. Someone else pointed it out to me and it seems to ring true.

I think although Ping is great, she has been consistantly good and I'm not sure how much of an improvement she's made. If anything she's struggled more in last couple of rounds. Jack on the other hand has grown and improved so I think he might just edge it.

And yeah the Masterchef rule is bloody annoying.

Much as I like Ping I would like Jack to win, as I think it would launch an awesome career for him, which would be fabulous for someone of his age.

I wouldn't mind any of them winning, I really like Luke but he seems to have lost his edge recently. Ping is awesome but Jack seems to be getting better and better.
