Quick.... hands to match feet?

Just stepping into salon for manicure/pedicure... should fingernail colour match toenail colour? What's the rules?! Are there rules?!

No, no matchy. I always have brighter toes than fingers, in the same colour pallete (say, hot pink toes and pale pink fingers).

Nope doesn't need to match, but I think they shouldn't clash. Eg. Bright green on toes, and bright pink on hands. They should complement. Try a light and darker shade?

I never match, I like something either really dark or really vibrant on my toes and something more neutral on fingers

I want a bright orange/coral colour on my toes to complement some new shoes... what colour for hands then?
