Went in the back garden to the shed which is filled to the brim with fil shit. I as lookng for the strimmer and was poking about . Actually stood at the door as you can't even get in!

The shed used to be an Aviary and when fil dumped his stuff in there has knocked wood shavings and bird seed every where. Then filled it with crap.

I moved a box and seen a deep plastic container and when I nudged it a bit I seen movement so yanked it forward and it had two little -cute- mice in it and one dead one.Sad it was full of bird seed.

I tipped the box forward and let them escape . They must have slipped in and couldn't get out because the sides where too high.

It's a mice heaven - lots of free food and soft bedding and lots of places to hide and play.

I could honestly swing for fil.

What do I do know?

He won't come and get his stuff because he has no where to put it. I bet there are a lot of mice in there.

If I do clean it out where will they go? I live on an estate so will they go in to other peoples houses? They will also leg it in to mine Sad

I don't think I can poison them and can't afford friendly traps.

Help!?!?!

I would shut the door and pretend I hadn't seen them. They hopefully will eat through FIL stuff so you won't have to worry about that and I would get a cat.

They are everywhere, you don't need to set traps, it's only the shed. If your house is clean they won't come in, they've gone in the shed because of all the bird seed about.

I wouldn't worry - we had mice in our garden shed, didn't bother me in the slightest.

What kind of mice are they? Presumably they are little field mice? As Betty says, they are only there for the food and are no problem, unlike the horrors that come in the house sometimes (house mice). Hice mice? House mouses?

No, don't trap them, you'd only have to deal with the bodies, and poison is a horrible lingering death.

Wink ignore them then! They will go back to the fields when they're ready when your food runs out
