Child sent home from nursery with the wrong granny

I read a story in the local paper about this a few weeks back Shock. I'm really shocked and can't work out how this happened, apparently the granny was well-known to staff - you would think she would've been more on the ball too. The irony is I saw that nursery recommended in a London newsletter on pre-preps and nurseries.

I don't know why the nursery are being blamed, surely it's the woman's fault for getting the wrong child

Did the woman not know her own grandchild?

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 12/05/2014 16:18

Yeah, how did they woman not know, I'm pretty sure my mum knows her grandchildren.

I read this too. Apparently the child had face paint on... Hmm

What's worse is the ofsted inspection that followed. Uncovered all sorts of failings. Can't understand how it happened, I took a look round last year and it seemed very nice (although £££££)

Face paint or not I'm still amazed. I looked at it too but heard mixed reports about the place before but after that ofsted report I'm sure no-one will send their kids there - wouldn't a nanny be cheaper?
