To be sick of this pain

I am 28 years old have arthritis needs a knee operations, ibuprofen solves 1 problem but due to Gerd makes it worse. I have false teeth because I have vomited so much that my teeth had eroded.

I am sick of this.

Medication review today and now I have been taken off ibuprofen because of the Gerd.

To top it off my back in in pain all the time, my knee is in pain

I'm very sorry. Living in constant pain takes its toll like no other.

When people have a headache, or feel ill - they'll usually be grumpy, or have a lay down. But people in constant pain have to still live their lives the best way they can.

And sometimes there is no cure or treatment, and so it will be that way forever. It's draining and depressing.

Hope your operation works and you find a medication that works. Have they put you on a alternative to the ibuprofen?

Being in constant pain is miserable. I have RA and I've been in a lot of pain all day today and I'm exhausted but I'm awake because my shoulders & hips are in agony, so you have my full sympathy.
I have been quite lucky with meds (am on fab biologic drugs) although I can't take ibroprofen as it doesn't agree with my stomach. It's crappy when the side effects of meds make some other aspect of your life worse to make other bits bearable. After 16 yrs I've just about got the balance ok just wish I still didn't have days when I felt like I was 100.

Get yourself to a pain clinic. If you have GERD you should have come off the ibuprofen ages ago as there are suitable anti inflamatories for you. Also are you in omeprazole or similar for the acid? If not request it
