I really couldn't give a shit if the MNHQ delete a thread cos they don't like it, I'll just read something else.

why get worked up?

TAAT?

MrsMaturin · 09/05/2014 19:14

I agree. But people love their freds so much you see. Containing as they do priceless pearls of wisdom that will never be seen again. It's so mean to get them trashed just because they were:

libel/distasteful/disablist/victim blaming/inciting animal cruelty/ just plain bobbins (delete as appropriate)

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 09/05/2014 19:15

so instead of making the point on the thread you start another one .

Sparklingbrook · 09/05/2014 19:15

Depends on the reason for deletion. If it's just because the OP got all upset after starting an AIBU and getting some stern replies, that's a bit Hmm.

It's up to MNHQ what they delete though, and no thread is of earth shattering importance after all.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 09/05/2014 19:16

I do think they should check with me before they delete any really scandalous threads - just to make sure I've had a chance to read it. After that, it's fine. Grin

SDT

Agreed, then maybe you can pm me Grin

There is nothing worse then getting into a really interesting thread, going to pick the children up and coming back to find it turned into a bungight (and you missed it) and it's been deleted

Cornettoninja · 09/05/2014 19:38

Yanbu but then neither are people who do get annoyed by it.

Maybe their in the middle of a conversation (I rarely notice a name so it's not like I could bring it up with that particular group dynamic again) or in the middle of reading it...

It's different to not getting a conclusion because a threads died of it's own accord..

It's a bit like those American shows that get cancelled suddenly after a couple of seasons, it's annoying an in unsatisfying to some and others don't care and just watch something else.

ssd · 09/05/2014 19:39

exactly sb, its up ol mnhq what they delete or not but theres nothing here so earth shattering its worth debating over and over

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 09/05/2014 19:45

perhaps people don't like the deletions because they feel like they have missed something exciting.

ssd · 09/05/2014 19:47

could be but even my lifes not that sad Grin

You can delete what you like unless it's a sporn thread
