Just listening to Phantom of the opera. Only like it with Michael Crawford. (yes how cultured am i?)

Hate the x files without Mulder.

Moonlighting is only good with maddie and David.

And one for my mum, Mr darcey is Colin firth.

I like anything with:

Christian Bale
Tom Hiddleston
Jennifer Lawrence

:)

WowserBowser · 08/05/2014 00:49

I was pleasantly surprised that Jennifer Lawrence won The FHM poll.

Not at all. I love Evita but probably only because of Madonna. And sat through the Henry IV parts I and II bits of The Hollow Crown for Hiddleston (well, and Simon Russell Beale and Maxine Peake, but for different reasons).

Have watched some fairly rubbish TV movies/series (Hawking, Stuart: A Life Backwards) for Benedict C.

Would watch Olivia Colman read a shopping list. Also Vanessa Redgrave, Mark Strong, and too many others to mention.

I watch the Great British Sewing Bee mainly for that long cool drink of water Patrick Grant and his beautiful body suits.

pebblyshit · 14/05/2014 11:43

I'll watch anything with Olivia Colman, Gillian Anderson or Nicola Walker.

I've watched some real shit because Simone Lahbib has been in it.

Joolsy · 14/05/2014 13:31

No you're not being U. I'd watch most things with Andrew Scott in.

DenzelWashington · 14/05/2014 13:35

No, Matthew McFadyen was better as Darcy.

Currently re-watching Green Wing with Olivia Coleman, who is brilliant as ever.

Oh yes Mark Strong. If he still had hair he'd be a major major star. So unfair that he isn't.

OnlyLovers · 14/05/2014 14:18

Denzel, do you think it's the hair thing? I was just talking to a friend about him and we agreed he was under-rated/underused, but couldn't hit on why.

I thought he just chose rubbish films or said yes to too-small roles, but maybe that's all he gets offered.

Aradia · 14/05/2014 14:19

I love John Sim, he's always brilliant in everything.

LeonardoAcropolis · 14/05/2014 14:34

Yy Jennifer Lawrence and Olivia Coleman. I also love Michelle Gomez because of Green Wing.

DenzelWashington · 14/05/2014 16:03

I honestly do think it's the hair. Which is ridiculous. And perhaps, he's too sane to chase that level of fame.

OnlyLovers · 14/05/2014 16:20

I'm going with the latter theory, Denzel. Grin

I saw David Tenant and Catherine Tate in Much Ado a few years ago in London. It was a dire production but the audience lapped it up (even the part where the theatre's electrics blew and we had to wait for them to be repaired before the play could finish!) and gave them both standing ovations.

I know it's because of who was in it and not because of the quality of the production. I left feeling dirty! Confused

Wannabestepfordwife · 14/05/2014 16:35

Idris Elba- not just for the amazing looks but he's a great actor.

Helen Mirren is fab in everything she does! Also love a bit of Ray Winston and Ben Kingsley.

I think being bald makes Mark Strong he wouldn't be as sexy with hair

EverythingsDozy · 14/05/2014 17:05

I'm not fond of Jonathan creek without Caroline Quentin and I don't like CSI without Grissom. I don't care much for change (not sure if Grissom was the original in CSI but he was there when I started watching it!) Grin

DenzelWashington · 14/05/2014 17:23

Oh yes, Idris.

It was awful, I agree.
Such a waste of Mr Tennant who speaks blank verse and even the less impressive Shakespearean comic prose like he was born to it.
Luckily the BBC Radio production with him and Samantha Spiro is available - in which he is a wonderful Benedick.

I will watch anything directed by Joss Whedon. I struggle with some of the Marvel stuff but generally I know I'll enjoy it.
