I'm out tonight. Just asked DH what he's going to cook for himself.... "eggy bread" with a lattice of tinned anchovies!

Get him to POAS!
I like eggy bread.
I like anchovies a bit...
I wouldn't combine the two!

sounds good to me. Egg and anchovy is a winning combination (egg and anchovy salad quite a standard combo).

Nothing odd with eggs and anchovies together (think salad nicoise)

JessieMcJessie · 07/05/2014 15:19

"eggy bread"- what is he, five years old? Does he also eat "nanas"?

Sounds delicious though.

Oi! Eggy bread is the name of a dish whatever the age of the person consuming it.

A few pretentious people call it French toast I suppose.

Oooh, I might have this for dinner tonight myself! Ta!

He'll be farting later.

I love eggy bread. Im only allowed to cook it when my DP goes out as she cant stand the smell of eggs!

kentishgirl · 07/05/2014 17:14

One of my secret vices is to make a cheese sandwich, dip it in lots of beaten egg, and fry that. Eggy bread with extras Grin

Remember ordering eggy bread in the states and they covered it with icing sugar, that was wonky.
