To think the guy who wote "prey" is an idiot?

Watching it now on ITV.

The bloke who wrote it was on the local news earlier being interviewed and rattling on about how it was his greatest work, lifetime achievement etc etc and how when he had the script with just "written by" on it he had sent it back with that crossed out and "written and created by" on it instead. Obviously proud of what he had done.

Except that the whole story is just a rehash of that film with Harrison Ford in it, even down to him accidentally escaping out of the police van.

Can't help thinking he is a bit deluded.........

The film was a remake of the TV series of the same name. This is just a rip off (so far).

I'll watch the next one, I like the actors in it.
When they were in the canteen a bloke in the background looked like Burnside out of The Bill! Distracted me a bit I'll admit!

Yanbu it reminded me of at least 3 other shows including Luther (where he has wife's blood on hands, realised this, stagger off) and the recent Line of Duty which was fab and had a police van in a crash got overturned and prisoner escaped from it. But even so I'll be watching it next week

The thread title caught my eye because I thought this was about Michael Crichton's 'Prey'. I'm guessing from the comments on here that it isn't!
