to hate my neighbours

To think my neighbours are selfish and annoying! We each have ONE parking space but they have 4 cars between the two of them! They park one behind my car and squeeze the other two in on the verges etc its so annoying! Why do they have so many cars for a couple with no kids? they have one car to walk the dogs ones a convertible mini for nice days and his is his work pick up truck and she has another bmw x5 as her everyday car. Also she parks a massive horse box in the car park somtimes thats not even allowed on our estate (somthing in the deeds about not allowing commercial vehicles on out estate) they just dont seem to have any regard for anyone else. She also lets her yappy dogs poo all over the communal lawn and doesnt pick it up! And dog's arnt even allowd in our flats and she treads mud and horse poo all up the stairs and outside her door thats opposite my front door leaves muddy boots like 20 pairs of shoes all messy and smelling of horse poo and wee uùggggghhh AIBU to want them to move?

Nope, they sound awful. Surely there is a freeholder that they can be reported to

Move the boots outside? Is there anything in your lease about not leaving stuff in the communal areas?

ivykaty44 · 28/04/2014 21:05

Report them

MrsAlexVause · 28/04/2014 21:11

My neighbour is similar.

GreeboOgg · 28/04/2014 21:12

Er, well you've just listed the reasons why they have so many cars, thus answering your own question. If they had kids would it be OK for them to have more than one car each? Confused

A horsebox is not necessarily a commercial vehicle. Most people who own them have them for private use only.

You could talk to them about leaving their boots in the communal areas (really weird thing to do anyway) and cleaning up after their dogs. Or contact whoever is in charge of maintenance of your building regarding the muck in the communal areas.

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 28/04/2014 22:15

Pick up the dog muck and pop it safely into their boots - it belongs to them after all, and you wan't want them to have it stolen would you Wink Grin

Hate away.
Personally I loathe my neighbours and would be quite happy to see them gone (preferably run over by a horse box).

CerealMom · 28/04/2014 22:33

Ooooo PomBear, you are naughty ;-)

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 28/04/2014 22:41

I'm just a bit surprised that a couple with four expensive cars, a horsebox & happy dogs choose to live in a flat! I know similar people, but they all live in more rural settings Confused.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 28/04/2014 22:42

Yappy dogs not happy dogs!

Cataline · 28/04/2014 22:44

I second PomBear's suggestion Grin

Charlie97 · 28/04/2014 23:07

Pombear that actually made me snort with laughter! Great idea!

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 30/04/2014 12:50

Take pics of it all and then send it to the agents who look after the flats. I had this in flats that i lived in, one guy would leave his rubbish bin in the hallway and it stank the whole place out. Also are work vehicles allowed home if they are not parked off road ?

sassysally · 30/04/2014 12:53

A horsebox isn't a commercial vehicle.YANBU re the dog poo, but ing 4 vehicles is ok

BrunoBrookesDinedAlone · 30/04/2014 13:30

They're not happy dogs, Santa, they're owned by a woman with EVIL IN HER SOUL.
