The chest freezer is about 15 year old and the brackets have just snapped.

Is there anything I can do.

What do the brackets do - are they essential, could you duct tape them back together?

Replace them completely - can you see how they are attached?
If an external hinge then it may be simple -

Visit espares website, see if they stock spare hinges?

Can't you just put the lid down so the seals seal iyswim?

The seal is on its way out, but look on espares.

Don't really have the money for a replacement
