I've got 3 kids, each 3 years apart. So, by the time I had DC3 (recently) I already had six years experience under my belt. I feel like I blunder daily with my 6 year old but I can't remember much detail from when he was 3 or new to compare my parenting then with his siblings' today
I've just starting reading a good parenting book and I'm having one of those 'I could follow all these suggestions and be brilliant' moments you tend to get with self improvement books.
So my question really is, did you become a better parent over time and why? Experience? Something you read? Will I be a better - wiser, calmer, cannier - parent to my youngest when she is 6?
