Long story short, our cat went missing just before Xmas. Last week a cat appeared at the door looking very sorry for itself and similar to lost cat.
We took it to the vets to have its microchip checked as we weren't sure if it was our lost kitty. It wasn't.
However, it was far from home, and did look awfully thin and not well looked after. I was sad it wasn't our cat, but I am also worried that it hasn't been looked after particularly well. The vet was returning her to her owner. Could I ring and check its ok and home safely?
