About a year ago 2 cats started coming into my house, after extensive inquiries I eventually found out who they belonged to and informed him that they were stealing my cats food. They were left out all day and night in all weathers and one of them kept attacking my cats. The owner made no attempt to keep his cats in and the friendly one spent most of the time in my house.

This weekend the friendly one has become injured and is limping very badly, my DH went round to tell the owner and he just said he will take him to the vets when he sees him. Its unlikely that he will see him as the cat would have to jump over a high fence to get into the garden which he cant do because of his injury.

IABU to take the cat to his house and ask him to take him to the vets now?

Shock at the owners reply! ywnbu to take the let round there. If someone told me my cat was hurt I would be straight out looking for it!.

Redpony I would be too but he doesn't seem very bothered.

I would have taken the cat to the vets myself but I'm not the legal owner and dont know whether he (the cat) is on any treatment, plus I have 3 cats of my own and cant afford another one.
