To eat DC2 (6month old) Easter egg today

It was bought for him by an uncle and is on a shelf in the utility room. Obviously DC2 is not going to eat it and it is going to be mine at some point - do I really have to wait?

As you will be eating it anyway then you may as well eat it now.

You could always buy another to replace it with if you want more ;)

Dd's first Easter she was about 4 months, I bought her 3 eggs because I kept eating them before Easter and replacing them. Dh never knew, he still thinks the eggs we share between the two of us (dh and I, not dd) was the one we had picked out for her a few weeks earlier. Grin

Really depends on the Easter egg.

If it's one of those character ones with awful choclate, then yabu at all.

I think you can get away with this next year as well, my dd is 15mo and I've already eaten her first Easter egg of the year.. When she's old enough to understand about Easter she is then old enough to eat the egg ;)
