AIBU to ask for advice for work I could possibly do from home?

I have posted other threads about our debt situation (my partner's not mine). I have began to help force my partner to confront them, and have been contacting and arranging payment plans and I am feeling fairly confident that we can sort this.

However, I would like to do some work from home if I possibly could. I realise this may be a long shot but, hey it's worth a try! I have a one year old and one on the way, so evenings would probably be best for me.

A little about me:
I have 11 GCSE's - all A-C, with A for English lit, and A* for English lang. I have just completed a social and community work access course, and got distinctions for every assignment so I know I am quite good at English/essay writing. I am due to start a university course (social work) in 2015, so would love to keep my brain active and possibly earn a little money until then!

Would I be unreasonable to ask if anybody has any experience or advice?
