AIBU to feel slightly annoyed about this?

Me and my oh are both working hard and trying our best to save for a deposit for our own house, despite forking out a huge amount of our wages on nursery fees.
One of my best friends lives with her oh, and two of his family where they all share the rent/bills etc. She doesn't work and her maternity leave has just ended, but claims benefits. Last week she went to the council and said she is single and living with her mum but will be kicked out soon and has now been put on the list for a council house where her rent will be paid. She currently manages to claim something to do with housing benefit or something similar?, tax credits, child benefit and income support. AIBU to feel slightly annoyed that we are working our hardest to provide for our lg and get us a place of our own to bring her up in. While they are lying to the government and getting everything paid for, even though her oh works and so do the two other adults they are actually living with, she gets all this money to keep and do what she likes with....

Either report her or forget about it.

Do you get equally annoyed about shoplifters stealing food when you have to pay for yours?

It's pointless. You could spend your life being annoyed by these things or just move on.

Either way, unless she lives on the moon it's going to be years until she gets a council house.

Well if this present Government gets its way, many of us will be living in sheds or up a tree!

Wouldn't worry TBH.

Maybe be more annoyed with successive governments and lack of affordable housing and any real house building schemes.
