A woman who had her bag stolen is trying to get back the hat that was inside it. It was the hat her daughter was wearing when she died.

Do you know it's a hoax and not a real story? If you look at her page she seems like a perfectly normal woman just trying to get the hat back. I would have done the same.

I've shared the appeal. I don't live in London but I have friends there.

I've seen it on twitter and Facebook and shared. I don't live in London but it's worth sharing to get the publicity.

I'm pretty sure it's real. It's been featured in a few newspapers and quotes an incident number etc. also going through her Facebook it looks genuine to me.
