To let DD sleep on me..

5 month old DD is fast asleep in my arms on the settee. She is snuggle blinking brilliant!

She didn't do well at her last nap and fell asleep on me about an hour ago...way too late! It is now bath time and bed at 7.

AIBU to just stay here listening to her breath and occasionally sniffing her.

What should I do about bath, PJs and bed? Will I have a terrible night with het?

Usually naps x3 per day in her cot and bed in her cot at 7 after bath, milk, story.

Obv not unreasonable at all to cuddle your baby and sniff her if you want Grin

I wouldn't try and get her into bed for 7 though, maybe put everything back by an hour or so?

Oh how lovely! Normally I used to jump through hoops to make sure none of mine slept too late but sometimes......Just enjoy this time now. You have 2 choices...
1....if it was possible, could you put her in her cot...s*d bath and pjs? This would just be an early night...

  1. When she wakes, have a lovely evening, bath, pjs and stories till she rubs her eyes and lets you know shes tired again.
As a Mother who has an almost empty nest....Just enjoy her sweet baby smell and her little squiggy legs.

You're making me want to go and wake mine up to sniff him and have him fall asleep on me Hmm Blush Enjoy and try to remember this moment at midnight Grin

Do it. I wish I had done it more. Mine are 3, 5 and 6 now. Do it as much as you can. YUM,
