Especially the chunky ones!

OH always puts them in fridge, they belong in the cupboard!

The wafer just doesn't taste as nice when it is cold!

No chocolate belong in the fridge.

Mummytobe25 · 02/04/2014 13:56

Kitkats go in the fridge here.

JonSnowsPout · 02/04/2014 13:56

I'm with your dh, if you put them in the fridge, the chocolate hardens and its easier to nibble off the wafer.

Snickers and Mars belong in the freezer. Most other chocolate is fine stored in a cupboard.

Imnotmadeofeyes · 02/04/2014 13:59

Yabu, it's a rare chocolate that isn't improved by a stay in the fridge. Except eclairs which can only been eaten after sitting on the radiator for twenty minutes so the insides go gooey.

I love it when we get some warm weather and shops start putting chocolate in the fridges.

SaucyJack · 02/04/2014 14:00

YABU!

Nestle and Cadbury's in the fridge.

CharleyFarnsbarns · 02/04/2014 14:00

YANBU.

Fridge chocolate is wrong! DH does this and it makes it too hard to bite.

ArsePaste · 02/04/2014 14:03

FRIDGE! FRIDGE! FRIDGE!

Pumpkinpositive · 02/04/2014 14:05

I put all chocolate in the fridge, including the eclairs!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 02/04/2014 14:07

Chocolate - especially cheap milk chocolate - is infinitely improved by a stay in the fridge. I sometimes buy mars bars and freeze them - that's even better.

However, I do see LittleMissGerard's point about the chilled wafer not being nice - so the only sensible answer is to seperate the wafer and chocolate so the wafer can be stored in the cupboard, and the chocolate in the fridge. Of course this might spoil the kitkat-ness of the kitkat. Grin

dawntigga · 02/04/2014 14:07

No, cos they is Nestlé, innit?

Chocolate tastes much nicer straight from the fridge. The only exception being good quality dark chocolate which must be served at room temperature with a strong cup of black coffee!!

arselikekylie · 02/04/2014 14:13

Fridge till about an hour prior to eating.

That is if you have the self control to wait an hour before eating.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 02/04/2014 14:41

All chocolate belongs in the fridge - or even the freezer for a tiny time.

Nothing worse than warm soggy chocolate.

Monmouth · 02/04/2014 15:12

If you don't put a kit kat in the fridge how are you supposed to bite off the chocolate at each end, then down each side and the then top?

LittleMissGerardButlersMinion · 02/04/2014 16:24

Cadburys chocolate is nice at room temperature as it melts in your mouth then :o

JulietBravoJuliet · 02/04/2014 16:28

I put KitKats in the freezer. And Twix bars Grin Cadburys and Galaxy at room temperature though otherwise it's too hard.

YANBU

Putting chocolate in the fridge is a LTB-offence in this house - well, DH can put his mingy Galaxy in there if he wants but hands off everything else

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 02/04/2014 16:41

Its healthier too if you freeze chocolate.

It makes it tougher to eat and thus you think you've had more than you have.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 02/04/2014 16:47

Crap chocolate in fridge. Good chocolate out.

Crinkle77 · 02/04/2014 16:49

I prefer chocolate that has been in the fridge particularly Kitkats as I can nibble all the chocolate off it before eating the wafer

Delphiniumsblue · 02/04/2014 16:51

I don't eat any chocolate unless it has been in the fridge.

Delphiniumsblue · 02/04/2014 16:52

Kitkats, in particular, are not nice unless they have been in the fridge.
