My LO goes to playgroup, which hasn't been doing too well financially of late. The boss is trying to raise well needed funds by increasingly regular sponsored events. My parents are retired and friends have their own families and financial commitments, so I don't want to spend my valuable spare time trying to hit them for cash! When too few parents donate, we get a letter complaining....AIBU to think they ought to increase their prices rather than relying on charity? It is a privately run business after all
