So after lunch out come back to mine. Almost time to leave and I call DS in to had out presents and cards to mums/nannys. While I was getting him, mil decided to hand them out and took her own for good measure. DS not bothered, no-one else noticed I was miffed but didn't feel able to say anything as it was all over in seconds. Then she proceeded to get ready to go home. Meh.

Yawn

why would your ds be handing gifts and cards to your mum or mil ?

withextradinosaurs · 31/03/2014 12:08

As a guess, because it's about children showing appreciation for their mums/nans, not mothers-in-law taking charge?

I'm guessing that the OP finds MIL irritating in general.

Why wouldn't you give out cards as soon as you saw them rather than waiting till just before they went?
