That maybe I'm not trying hard enough

Ok been out of work for 6 months as I was made redundant , I have been offered two jobs one I left they were awful to me it was a temporary basis, and I was doing a 12 hour day, the other could not afford the agency fees, so back to no job, yes could of stuck with being treated badly.

I had a interview last week for a great job and I will find out Monday if I got it, so if I don't I need a plan can anyone help as my dp is going to lose his job as well in the next month.

I don't think I can handle anymore rejection so how do I deal with being more proactive please advise.

Well, if it's a case of having money coming in, I'd take whatever was offered to me. I'd put up with it knowing that there'd be money in the bank at the end of the month. After about 6 months, begin to look for another job but do not give up the one you have until your foot is in another door - and I mean you actually have a start date for the new one.
