to worry about being on the pill?

I've been on it for 14yrs with no side effects, have just recently changed to minipill due to breastfeeding and now have this niggling feeling that I just don't want these pills in my system!... Aibu?

Why don't you want them in your system? Are you experiencing side effects? Ynbu, it's your body...maybe a little irrational, but that makes sense.

Well given that you are breastfeeding I assume that you have been off it for a while! Could it just be that you are not used to the hormones?

I think atm it is because I am breastfeeding. I'm worrying about the pill being passed on to baby, although it has been proven to be safe... I'm jusy in protective mode maybe?... But then I think beyond the effects on baby and wonder what long term effects I could have.
