To contact sainsburys manager about this?

To get into our local store, you need to go through a covered walk way (shop on right, roof, waist height wall on left. At the end of this walk way staff on their breaks ted to congregate and smoke. I find it really unpleasant, and I hate having to take DD through a group of 4 or 5 smokers. WIBU to speak to the manager about this, or would I sound petty? I think it doesn't look great from sainsburys pov to have staff huddled outside smoking (but that's their problem, not mine!)

I'm surprised manager hasn't already put a stop to this. Staff at my old workplace (not a supermarket, just an office building) were told off about congregating in front of the building to have a fag, looks really unprofessional. Especially wouldn't like to see this in front of a place selling food.
