To smother DP with a pillow

TwittyMcTwitterson · 09/03/2014 02:11

He's had a few drinks and he's snoring his stupid little head off.

Do I...

A) smother him with my pillow

B) kick him

C) sodd off to the spare room/DDs room and have wicked cuddles

D) be a grown up, wake him up and tell him

The rooms starting to shake... Hmm

I would push him over, and if that didn't work, pinch his nose Wink

PigletJohn · 09/03/2014 02:22

Roll him over, repeating "roll over, darling"

With repeated training, the words should do.

pettyprudence · 09/03/2014 02:28

smother him - he'll only do it again otherwise! Wink

Wake him up gently - this works 9/10 for me - and if he can't/won't stop, extricate one of you to the sofa. I've only done this once in 6 years and he to me once too. Hope you get some kip!

Sunnysummer · 09/03/2014 03:54

B then A then C. D would be the most unreasonable, as I know from experience that it never freaking works Hmm

AdoraBell · 09/03/2014 03:59

D never bloody worksHmm

B in the first instance, followed by A if B fails dismally. Then move on to C.

I pushed him gently and told him he was snoring. He told me he wasn't and was actually still awake. Then he said he was testing me. Not really sure what that means.

We agreed he should roll over because even if he wasn't snoring he wouldn't be losing out.

I can never sleep past 8am tho Confused

A sharp elbow in the rib does it for me!

Thattimeofyearagain · 09/03/2014 08:45

Roll him over < I snore - sinus issues Blush>

Mumof3xx · 09/03/2014 08:45

I tend to accidentally elbow my snoring oh

TwittyMcTwitterson · 09/03/2014 09:03

Normally I turn over in a very bouncy way which wakes him up just enough. Not last night...

I wake mine up and tell him to go and sleep on the sofa Smile

EverythingsDozy · 09/03/2014 09:16

I used to kick mine and pretend I was still asleep Grin

EverythingsDozy · 09/03/2014 09:17

Not hard!! I'm not violent, just gently enough to startle him!

pmgkt · 09/03/2014 09:19

Firm kick and telling him to shut up works well here
