Of course she is!

That's her point!

BigFatGoalie · 06/03/2014 12:07

I love and hate her in equal measure!
I did the 30 Day shred and lost my baby weight and even a few more kilos. This morning I did her 50 minute cardio workout off YouTube.
My butt now hurts... Angry
She's brilliant and gets results, well done for keeping up until level2!

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 06/03/2014 12:10

YANBU - but I find L3 slightly kinder....maybe move yourself up a level and see. I once did L2 and 3 back to back, she was a right bitch then :)

Mrswellyboot · 06/03/2014 12:10

Is it worth getting this DVD?

crazykat · 06/03/2014 12:22

Try doing her burn fat boost metabolism workout.

I find shred level 2 just about doable (apart from walking press ups but that's due to my dodgy back). I got cocky and tried BFBM and felt like I was dying and could hardly move the next day.

ReindeerBollocks · 06/03/2014 12:25

She is a goddess as she gets results when you stick to it.

Saying that I haven't done anything since Xmas, maybe that's why I'm not all up on the Jillian hate right now - ask me again when I start it back up!

TillyTellTale · 06/03/2014 12:55

Yes. I did level 1 for a week, and ended up with knees that hurt with every step for a fortnight.

I don't know whether it's my technique or the inherent evilness of the work-out, but when I start again, I won't be doing the bending bits!

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 13:49

walking press up, wtaf is that about, they look so simple but hurt so very much. It is only muscle hurt though and I have lost 1.5inches of my waist already so musnt grumble really.
Tilly sorry about you knees thats rubbish.
Crazy Kat I will look at that as I am already thinking what to do next, maybe ripped in 30. To be fair they do say exactly what they are going to do to you in the title dont they?

The Jillian Michaels DVD is leering at me from across the room, I swear.

2tiredtocare · 06/03/2014 14:06

I love her but verbally abuse her at will

HeirToTheIronThrone · 06/03/2014 14:13

Oh god, shouldn't have clicked here - only on day 2 of level 1 of the shred! Ok so far, apart from my utterly feeble press up abilities...

TillyTellTale · 06/03/2014 14:14

My husband joined in with me on it, before I went on strike. We chorused swearwords at her. The word 'evil' was practically punctuation!

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 14:14

heir that was me just over a week ago and now I can do proper press ups, i can not however do walking ones.

pinkdelight · 06/03/2014 14:15

Mine's still in cellophane in the spare room next to the unopened box of handweights. I'm scared!

Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:15

She is evil but brill. My body looks so buff and I've been doing her various DVDs over the year. I was a size 16 Jan 2013 and now I'm a size 10/12 and can see my abs. I wanna look like Natalie from her DVD, her body is fantastic.

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 14:16

and what seems to hurt the most on this level is that horrible pouch just above the front of your lady garden, I didnt even realise that was a muscle. If sh can get rid of that I will marry her.

OP posts:
Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:17

You hurt to high heaven at first but your body gets used to it as you go along.

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 14:18

aero I am a 16 (well I was 2 weeks ago) can already squeeze into a 14. I shall be in that 12 before the summer.

Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:18

I hate mountain climbers, moguels, jumping runners and renegade rows ooooh the pain

Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:20

Good on you dita you can do it. I do it religiously when kids at school/bed. Tge six pack DVD is good too, lots of core exercises. I did cut down what I eat but do have the odd treat in the day.

TillyTellTale · 06/03/2014 14:21

Oh, fine. I'll start doing the DVD again. I would love to lose a dress size!

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 14:22

I am a bit obsessed with core at the moment, my job involves quite a bit of lifting and the amount of colleagues who have back problems is immense. I read somewhere that your core loses 1% of strength from 40 sinc I turn 40 in a couple of months I thought I would outsmart it.

Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:22

I lost 3 Tilly, I was a waist 34 and am a 30

ditavonteesed · 06/03/2014 14:22

tilly, do you wear trainers when you do it? I found my ankles hurt when I didnt.

OP posts:
Aeroflotgirl · 06/03/2014 14:23

I don't I find it harder, I tend to bear foot it
