It's such a beautiful sport to watch and requires speed, grace, accuracy and deserves a place at the next Winter Olympics.

That's lovely - I'd never heard of it before, - I'd love it if that was in the Olympics. Is it always just a womens event? I can see it maybe working with mixed men and women in the team too.

I couldn't imagine what you meant Faverolles, but it is very like a flock of birds in flight.

There's a bit of dramatic tension in thinking that if the wrong one catches her blade or trips there could be a massive pile up.

Thankfully if there is a fall it's usually one skater and the others have to keep going whilst she skates like billy-ho to catch up and get back in the line
