FFS I'm 53 and my period has started!

I'm 53, 53 do you hear me? And I'm still having fucking periods.

Please, please will some part of the universe tell my ovaries and my uterus that my dc are in their 20s, and that I do NOT intend to have any more children, and that I really, really do NOT need to have any more periods ever

Nearly 52 and still regular as clockwork. Had an endometrical ablation a few years ago and hoped that would but the end of them but no...

well I am just 50 and had the mirena last sept as had bled for 6 months continuously. I stopped for a few days in early Jan and thought yippee it's working but now started again!!

will give the mirena a few more weeks and then see.

it's a bloody pita op I agree.

can't help but think if this problem happened to men would it not have been solved by now!
