To consider taking house selling advice from Topsy & Tim

Our house has been on the market for a year. We've had lots of viewers, but no offers. In last night's Topsy & Tim episode, the first set of viewers turned up to view the untidied house (the Dad had forgotten about their arrival). The children showed them round the house, the Dad gave them tea & chocolate biscuits and they decided to buy it! We spend ages making the house immaculate, take the children out & never offer refreshments. Is that where we're going wrong?

i saw it too, and laughed my head off,
in RL the couple would be thinking "go away, and no i dont want to watch the precocious kids do their godawful play of 3 little pigs"

The child of the house that we bought showed us round, kind of.
He was 3 and very cute. He did a great job.
I think it's fair that anyone looking for a family house would be well disposed to children.
If there has been more than one and he hadn't so cute I wouldn't have liked it though.
