Playing computer games is not on.
When your dw is coping with 3 dc on her own after being up much of the night with one poorly child and a baby.
Just that really.
Dh got up popped out to get car washed . Came back and spent the next couple of hours playing computer games.
Meanwhile, I got up, got baby dressed, did breakfast and lunch and general childcare. Plus dealing with all the additional laundry caused by ds throwing up in the night.

Ok, he works hard during the week but I aam fed up of doing virtually it all at the weekend.
He cooked dinner tonight but that is all he did.

I worry dh will do this when we have dcs, he tries to do it now. I have threatened to change the wifi password or the password on his pc - if he keeps acting like a teenager I'll treat him like one.

The PC should not be shut away - I have discovered that it NEEDS to be in a communal area, the sitting room or dining room, or the kitchen if large enough. otherwise people 'forget how long they've been on' and it is all too easy to drop out of family life.

I agree with TheWhispersOfTheGods, put all computers in communal areas then everyone knows what is going on and can keep track of time. And tell DH that tomorrow is 'his' turn, you're having a sleep in and will be unavailable until further notice. Sometimes that's all it takes, he probably won't do it again.
