To fancy a crab pizza for tea?

So Friday night is homemade pizza night. DH is pescatarian so we mostly end up with prawn/tuna/veg pizza. However I have a tin of crab meat... WIBU to use it as a pizza topping?

Thought you meant a crabs head pizza (also known as a calzone) I do like the odd crabs head.

I think crab meat could work on a pizza... Anchovies do!!

Erm, I scoffed at first, but I think it would work. With lots of chilli.

I think it might work. Put some of those poncy uncooked rocket and herb salads on top with a spritz of lemon.

It sounds like a waste of good crab to me. The flavour will be masked by the tomato/cheese/whathaveyou.

Definitely not pregnant, nor will DS be eating wasting it.

That was a gorgeous pizza, I would seriously recommend it.

For the base I used tomato paste mixed with alioli, then some lots of chilli salt, red onion, red pepper, crab and mozzarella.

That sounds amazing. I want one now. I can't be bothered making my own base though.

I'd have a pizza without crab - and then eat the crab on its own straight out of the tin!
