To expect a better result from tesco mobile

I ordered 3 new phones last week signed up to a monthly plan for them, something went wrong on their system and the phones never arrived.

Spoke to customer services yesterday who had looked into the problem after i contacted them on wed, as it was past the time frame that they should have arrived and they basically said it would take another 48hrs for the dispatch dept. to get back to me, but the phones were never dispatched.

They will not dispatch new phones or let me collect the phones from a store.

To me if they know the phones were never sent, they should dispatch new ones or sort something out for me, and then figure out what went wrong.

Their only solution to me was to cancel the whole order and get a refund.

Am I expecting to much from them?

Tweet them. They're very active & responsive on twitter. Get an hashtag going. Power of MN and all that

I did and posted on Facebook, however what I discovered is that

  1. It is the same people who cover both
  2. They have no access to anything and cannot look into an issue them selves

So nothing was achieved apart from highlighting to others that when things go wrong the staff on these social media platforms have no ability to do anything just point you in the direction of customer services
