To think this is appendicitis?

Dh not been well since Friday. He's been tired, constantly cold and generally miserable.

Last night he started to complain of a pain in his right hand side. I jokingly said it could be appendicitis but since then it has got gradually worse. He has been up most of the night (this so have I) in pain in his right side that comes and goes but when it comes it is a sharp pain and seems to be lasting longer the longer we leave it.

Wwyd? I'm thinking I should take him to a and e once the kids are at school.

Thanks everyone. I got him to a and e and they have diagnosed gallstones. However from the blood tests they took they are pretty sure he has an inflammation somewhere so have given him two lots of antibiotics and tramadol and sent him home.

They said he isn't in enough pain for it to be an emergency, but I know my husband and he is in a lot of pain! He's not himself at all. It seems to be one thing after the other lately. He's already waiting for an op to try and sort his AF out, and now this too.

I'm glad he's got w diagnosis.

As I say, my appendix burst, earlier that day I was told by a doctor it was period pain.

Hope he's well soon, as well, sounds rubbish.
