Well it's more a huge boil on the side of my neck! It's got a red circle round it and I've tried to squeeze it but only a tiny bit pus came out this morning but made it more sore

DH said he's going to draw a nike tick on it and tee off with it!

It looks awful

Its cystic acne and i feel and have felt your pain quite literally.
Use a hot compress on it and apply some tea tree cream.

Will it need its own ticket if you go to the cinema?

I feel your pain, I get the big ones when I squeeze and nothing comes out. Yanbu but at least it's not on your face!

Agree that heat helps enormously - get a flannel as hot as you can stand and hold that on it.

And tomorrow get some Magnesium Sulphate paste from the chemist - it sort of sucks the puss out. Brilliant stuff.

Oh YNBU OP. I've had a right eyesore of one on my face at the moment. Actually contemplated buying Clearasil this morning for the first time since my teenage years.

Concealer isn't even covering it, I'm going to look like I've got love bites tomorrow at work with a scarf wrapped round my neck!!

I know everyone advises against but a hot flannel for half an hour or a hot bath then a sharp firm jab with a needle sterilised first with boiling water will do the trick.

Your DH will do it for you and could take photos before and after and then post them . You know he wants to.

More he would boke, he can't even watch casualty without boking!

I've never heard of sticking a sterile needle in it!

Weelady - your DH is no use at all in this circumstance.

You need someone with firm resolve and good aim to wield the needle. Can't you phone a friend to come round and do it?

I've woke up this morning it's not got any bigger and still not pus filled, but I woke up a few times during the night as I could feel myself lying on it!
Going to go to chemist and get some magnesium sulphate to whack on it, hopefully that will get rid of my 2nd head

Good luck weelady I tried killing mine with Savlon last night (couldn't get hold of germolene which was advised by a friend). Its still there :( .

I put a load of Panoxyl on mine last night and it has actually gone down substantially. It's a bit flaky but no longer cyst like!

Right home from work about to slap this stuff on with a big plaster but I don't know if it's a boil or a massive spot will it matter??
