To quite like having hairy armpits?

I've always had hair free armpits but have left them to grow free for the last couple of months. I have decided I actually quite like it, I feel quite feminine and liberated. AIBU? Does anyone else feel like this?

Yanbu, you like whatever you like. Your body, nothing unreasonable about that at all.

Me! I've never let them grow for more than a month or two, but I like it.

I think my pits are more likely to stink if left unshaved. So from a cleanliness POV I prefer shaving.

I've done it through sheer laziness, but I think it stops my anti-perspirant working as effectively.

There must be so much hair, that the stuff it doesn't even get through to the skin

I don't grow armpit hair, they're just naturally bald except when I'm pregnant, then I get half a dozen pathetic little wisps that fall out virtually as soon as the baby is born :(

I like my hairy armpits too. I don't know why but I have noticed that mine are much smellier if I shave them!

Yuck, it sounds disgusting to me. I know it's social conditioning that's made me feel like that but I always feel sick when I see hairy armpits.

Funnily enough I don't really like having hairy legs, I prefer them smooth.

I'm surprised so many women feel so comfortable having hairy armpits , can I ask, do you feel as comfortable with hairy legs?

Are there any cultures where women don't shave their armpits?

Mostly it's down to laziness, but I have to acknowledge I get a fair degree of satisfaction shaving my hairy (as opposed to stubbly) armpits.

I don't feel as comfortable with hairy legs. Probably because it's a larger surface area and depending on clothes, the hair is obvious. No-one sees my armpit hair.

I hate having my armpits hairy, I feel really uncomfortable. I wish I liked it but I just don't.

Yuck would not want to see anyone else's hairy pits so I definitely do mine. Have lasered so no more worries.

yes! love my hairy armpits as you do. no not quite as comfortable with hairy legs but i did leave them alone for several months and did become a lot more comfortable about it - still don't like leg hair like i do armpit hair though

I agree with Fancy, mine seem smellier if I shave, that's why I stopped!

Have never removed any body hair (chin whiskers are different)

I shave my legs in summer, can't be bothered in winter though. I know this is a minority opinion but I actually really dislike the look of shaved armpits on anyone and far prefer hairy.

I don't like hairy armpits. I fantasize about having "Dove" armpits but I love having hairy legs. I like the hairs being blond.

I wouldn't be brave enough to go out with hairy armpits exposed - sad really.....
