Hi there
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but i'll ask anyways.
My DD (year 2) has been asked by her school to dress up for Chinese new Year. I don't want to spend money on an outfit. I can quite easily conjure up a panda's outfit. Will her peers, other parents and teachers think I'm mad?
she doesn't mind what she wears.
Thanks in advance.

Personally, I would steer clear of pandas... Just dress up and be "celebratory" rather than "chinese-y". Wear red, it's the Chinese festive colour. Hth.

Just put her in red or get a cheap top from china town.

RandyRudolf · 28/01/2014 11:37

Whatever you do, do not send her in wearing these

Yes, some people actually think it's a good idea.

It's the year of the horse. Does she have some riding boots? Anyone you know have a riding hat? Or one of these?
