To hate having my hand kissed by strangers?

I was at some grubby 40th Birthday party at the weekend in a social club. DH knew one of the chaps in there and introduced me. He proffered his hand so I went to shake it and he kissed it, and then held it next to his mouth for ages.
It reminded me of how much I hate that. I don't think I've ever encountered it in a way that I've thought it was anything other than borderline letchy.
Before anybody thinks this was a dignified old boy doing it - he then went on to make pervy comments about my boobs etc so he wasn't just being nice....

Don't let them do it?

YANBU how horrible. Sad

I hate being kissed or hugged by strangers or indeed people I know bar a handful of family.

Personal space everyone. Respect it. Angry

It is creepy isn't it, we know a man who kisses women's hands, I make myself scarce when they're arriving, leaving.
Bleeuurgh.

I loathe kissers in general.

I usually put a hand out in to shake and then keep it rigid so they can't slime in for a cheek kiss

If they are persistant, I duck away claiming the start of a cold sore.

Feckin feckers. Feckin liberty.

I would have no trouble pulling my hand away if anyone tried to kiss it. I'd probably make a joke around no soap in the loos Grin

Horrid. Hand kissers are always the type to then make pervy boob comments. Lesson learnt op - never again.
