Faulty gisela mugs

Hi
I bought these in August and within a month one of them had a chip - now they both have lots of chips all over them and hairline fractures and the paint on the outside has fractured - meant to be dishwasher proof so it is the ceramic which is faulty - they were in the sale and cost £6 each. The shop will not take them back and said phone the manufacturer - I am really annoyed as they are my best mugs. I expect I'll just have to get a life and to let this go - what would you do.

I had to contact a manufacturer about a faulty mug. I think the handle came loose and I could've scalded myself. They were very apologetic and send me a replacement.

I suppose you could take a couple of close up photos and email them, see what they say. It won't cost you anything and if you don't try you'll never know.

You contact is with the shop. They need to sort. Ideally you should have returned them in august.

August was quite a long time ago. I'd just put them in the bin and move on.
