Water cannon to be deployed amid fears of riots.

Sinister and worrying?

Bastards.

If they'd stop bleeding the country dry for their mates, there'd be no need to protest.

WooWooOwl · 22/01/2014 21:08

I don't think it's sinister and worrying.

I think that after the last riots in London it's common sense.

People have a right to protest, they don't have the right to riot when rioting means looting and vandalism and violence.

YouTheCat · 22/01/2014 21:12

Do you really think they'd stop at using these on rioters? They'll be used on peaceful protesters before the year is out.

IamInvisible · 22/01/2014 21:19

Maybe they should look at why there is going to be riots instead of firing water cannon on people.

They are utter, utter cunts.

Do you really think they'd stop at using these on rioters?

Yes, I do. Because I don't naturally assume the worst.

etoo · 22/01/2014 21:27

They don't need these for peaceful protesters, it's easier just to kettle those people until they piss and shit themselves and go home.

YouTheCat · 22/01/2014 21:41

No, they don't need them for peaceful protesters. Doesn't mean they won't use them though.
