I discovered this morning that it's missing from the car. I couldn't help but sobbing.
(pg hormones?)

I last used it Monday morning and after I finished the school run I took DD out of it, strapped her in the carseat and got in the car and drove off.
I must have.
and just left the fucking thing on the pavement. Sad

someone must have walked off with it or the binmen took it - I'll never know.
I knocked on a few doors, hoping someone saw what happened or found it and took it inside, but nothing.

I was sobbing like a kid. I'm so upset and also angry with myself . what a stupid thing to do!Angry

some friends cheered me up, bless them and of them put it on Facebook and some local things - so it might turn up.

but I'm not hopeful. and I only bought it a few weeks ago, so although second hand it was new to me and much needed.

IABU, probably, but I was so happy when it came, I really needed it, was a hassle to get it sentand now I have to use the cumbersome 3-wheeler or buy another one.
And I miss it. it was red and pretty and useful.

YANBU I would be doing the same thing!! Bless your heart. I hope it turns up. Fingers crossed it was an honest person who picked it up hoping to find the rightful owner... I can easily see how it would happen.

Hm, no wondering if I need to put a "if found, please call" sticker on mine...

My beautiful pink bugaboo bee was stolen, 3 years ago and it still upsets me!!

YADNBU!!!

Yanbu. One of the best things about having a baby is the new buggy. I am serious. With dc4 I went buggy shopping in the 2 week wait before getting a BFP. I can understand your distress. Perhaps try free cycle if you can't afford another otherwise try and get a lightly used one on ebay to save money. Hope you get sorted soon.

ZingSweetApple · 22/01/2014 14:15

well it was only second hand so only £40, but in very good condition. and red! only a MacLaren, but that red one is quite rare to find on Ebay and normally pick up only - seller was so kind to post it!

thanks for sympathy and Shock @ stolen pink bugaboo, poor you!

I'll look at the weekend to see if there's one up for grabs.
can't do now.

YANBU. I had a little sob when my beloved McLaren XT finally gave up the ghost and was put out for the dustman. It had been part of our family since DD was 6 months old (now 5). I know its not the same as having it stolen or losing it but appreciate and understand your emotion at it being gone.

wipes away a solitary tear

ah, thanks both.

wound is too fresh to look at a replacement yet!Wink

sweet of you to say, but we can buy another one, thankfully.
I'd rather a freebee went to someone who can't afford it at all.

If you are local to me (Hampshire) I have a Maxi Cosi Loola you could have. It has a carry cot, car seat adaptors (I have the car seat too if you want it). The carry cot it lightly used and the pushchair seat never used. It was just too short for me and it hurt to push it so it didn't get used much.

I would be happy to give it to you if it would help.

ZingSweetApple · 22/01/2014 16:06

thanks lilycat so sweet of you Thanks Cake and thanks for the offer, but I need an umbrella folding one.
I have a single 3-wheeler travel system and a double 3-wheeler as well, but DS5 is almost 4 and can walk/run without fussing so I'm not using the double one until baby's born (July)

the single one is good and I'm going to have to use it for now for DD (21 months), but it's getting heavy to lift in and out if car.

but very kind of you anyway.
