Oh I'm in the same position and there don't seem to be any private landlords in my area. I don't want to pay some agency hundreds of pounds! I'd rather the LL got it in rent! I hope someone comes along OP

are you in a position to buy it.

AwfulMaureen · 20/01/2014 23:35

Forty that link is to a house through an agent. OP wants a private rental...that means dealing directly with the landlord. I don't bloody blame her either...I am tired of agencies...I call them and they quote extortionate "fees" and even charge a "Checking in" fee! Check in! It's not a bloody hotel!

Edit your title & include the words 'help needed from mnetters in the Exeter area' or similar. That way more relevant people will read & respond to your post.

Good luck

I agree with the last poster, either edit your title to be more explicit about wanting to hear from people in Exeter (if you can do such a thing, I certainly dont know how, can anyone tell me how to do it?)

Or repost using a title like "need house to rent in Exeter urgent"

Otherwise you just get people like me, nowhere near Exeter and not actually of much help.
